RACHEL ALLEN
B.A. Political Science/Sociology, is a Certified Music Practitioner, Sound Healer, Reiki Master, and Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT200) with a trauma informed/social justice framework.
Rachel has over 200 hours in trauma informed/trauma sensitive yoga training from Yoga Service International, Off the Mat and Into the World and The Trauma Center from the Justice Resource Institute in Massachusetts. Rachel is a member of Give Back Yoga, Yoga Service International and is a registered healing arts practitioner with The Breathe Network, an organization dedicated to serving survivors of sexual violence through the holistic arts.
ARIFAH ESAR
Born and raised in a remote mountainous area of Pakistan, known as Hunza. Arifah, obtained her MS in Software Engineering and is currently working toward women empowerment in northern Pakistan.
Arifah's passion has lead to her work on various projects to promote, women made handicraft products to help them secure a sustainable livelihood within the country.
Volunteerism and philanthropy has always been a core essence of Arifah's faith and values, which is the key motivational drive that propels her to move forward in life.
Brendan Loud
Brendan, a born and raised New Yorker and JetBlue manager in the Flight Operations department.
Brendan has a profound love for philanthropy and has spent much of his time at JetBlue volunteering in numerous ways where he has helped rebuild playgrounds and restore parks after hurricane Sandy, volunteered with vets and has helped feed the homeless.
Brendan enjoys traveling in his free time and is a proud board member of the Manhattan Gaels GAA club.
Shane E Stoehr
Shane is the owner and founder of Journeyman Products, a custom design and prototyping company that uses today’s technology to bring new
products to market fast. Utilizing a diverse group of designers and fabricators as well as leveraging the power of crowdfunding, Journeyman facilitates the rapid development of innovative products that provide convenience, performance and value to its clients.
As a founding partner in Adventure 4 Action, a service that helps people
achieve their dreams of adventure while raising awareness for societal
causes, Shane intends to use his experience to help fellow adventurers
who desire to help others.
Dr. Phillip Applegate
Dr. Applegate is the vice-president of the Institute for Podiatric Excellence and Development (IPED), an organization designed to motivate, inspire and synergistically bridge the gap between students, residents, new practitioners and seasoned veterans in the field of podiatric medicine.
Dr. Applegate completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M before attending podiatric medical school at the Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University. There he served as delegate to the American Podiatric Medical Students’ Association, and later went on to serve as national president of the organization during his fourth year of school.
LEYNA CHIANG
Born and raised New Yorker, project manager, marketing and product development professional. Ambitious, self-starter, and a doer she has the ability to take an idea and turn it into something real. With an extensive experience in marketing, production, and network building, she has worked and consulted at companies that span the breadth of home and fashion industries, including Fab.com, Dynomighty Design and Guenevere Rodriguez Jewelry.
Leyna is the Founder of Markets of the City, an online directory platform of artisanal, farmers, food and vintage markets throughout NYC. Her other current project includes The Big Five Club.
Evan Greene
Chief Marketing Officer for The Recording Academy, Greene is responsible for the GRAMMY. Mr. Greene has incorporated a brand-driven narrative across the company, re-focusing a traditional, not-for-profit trade organization to become a dynamic, global business force.
Prior to joining The Recording Academy, Greene spent ten years in theatrical marketing at Walt Disney Studios and Columbia Pictures (Sony). Greene was responsible for award-winning campaigns for movies such as Spider-Man, Stuart Little and S.W.A.T., and oversaw national theatrical programs with various Fortune 100 brands.
Dr. Hal Ornstein DPM, FASPS, FAPWCA
Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the New Jersey Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons Group, LLC; President of the Institute for Podiatric Excellence and Development and, Chairman of the Foundation of Podiatric Excellence and Growth.
Dr. Hal is Consulting Editor for Podiatry Management Magazine and organizer of the four-year practice management course at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM).
Dr. Hal dedicates his life to carrying out his personal mission statement; Every Day is an Opportunity to Create and Share Miles of Smiles. As such, Dr. Ornstein was very proud to create The Ornstein Family Foundation to drive his purpose in life, which is to give as much as he can, to as many as he can.
YING WU
Ying is a creative entertainment marketing professional who currently manages campaign activations at WhoSay. Prior to joining WhoSay, Ying worked in communications/PR at Metal Rabbit Media, Burson-Marsteller and Rubenstein on a range of clients including BMW, Tribeca Film Festival, The Orchard, The High Line and more.
In her spare time, Ying runs ying’s things, a stationery and paper goods brand, born from her love of doodling, glitter pens and colorful palettes.
Jim Bordell
Former U.S. Coast Guard Master Chief, Jim Bordell is drawn to an adventurous lifestyle and has a profound love for the outdoors.
Jim has centered his life around adventure performing search and rescue, disaster response. Volunteer and Incident Command System instructor with Team Rubicon, a veteran based disaster response organization, since 2012.
Jim’s interest in adventure travel has led him to launch Overland Quest, LLC., a service that provides planning and support for travel enthusiasts. As a founding partner in Adventure 4 Action, a service that helps people achieve their dreams of adventure while raising awareness for societal causes, Jim intends to use his experience to help fellow adventurers who desire to help others.

TIna LeMar
Tina founded and runs the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, “Sheltered Yoga”, which brings Evidence-Based, Trauma-Informed, Mental Health and Wellness Curriculum to underserved and at-risk communities, from children to seniors, in Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware. The nonprofit’s work has been recognized as an effective and innovative approach to rebuilding self-esteem, self-worth, and self-compassion in the communities and with the individuals it serves.
Tina’s credentials include two Master's degrees; an MA in Education and an MBA in Business Administration, as well as extensive graduate level classes in Family and Systems Psychology. She is a yoga and wellness instructor and teacher trainer with over 18 years of experience.
Jacqueline Rose
Is a New York news producer, who spends most of her time traveling throughout the U.S. producing news breaking stories for CNN.
Jacqueline, has also worked in the public relations industry since graduating from Fordham University with a BA in communication studies in 2008.
In her spare time she has volunteered with NY Cares and BARC animal shelter in Brooklyn. She is a native of Buffalo, NY and has lived in New York since 2008.
